Vielfältige Aufgaben

  • As our Ammonia & Hydrogen Market Analyst, you will provide our medium- and long-term market scenarios and views for low carbon fuels with special focus on ammonia and hydrogen based on your broad market experience and modelling knowledge. In addition, your deep understanding of the ammonia and hydrogen industries allows you to act as a central knowledge centre for the Trading team to support low carbon fuels business activities:
    • To provide analysis on the global ammonia and hydrogen markets development, to build an outlook on its evolution in medium and long term, including regularly updated medium- and long-term price scenarios based on fundamental modelling of these markets  
    • To gather and share information, news and knowledge on grey, low carbon and green ammonia and hydrogen value chain across the relevant Trading teams.  You will be the key knowledge centre to provide technical and fundamental market intelligence support for low carbon fuels business activities
    • To be the central contact person for questions related to medium and long-term developments in the relevant ammonia & hydrogen markets 
    • To contribute to the definition of the scenarios used for the long-term market views, and to present the scenarios in various formats with different stakeholders
    • to seek and deliver continuous improvement and innovation in analytical, fundamental, and modelling approaches and methodologies

Überzeugendes Profil

  • Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of the ammonia market which you gained during working in a relevant industry and/or consultancy sectors (e.g.: the fertilizer sector) 
  • Knowledge of fundamental price modelling is an advantage
  • Ability to present and explain complex market dynamics, open and eager to discuss and to shape your views during discussions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and a great team player, excellent communication skills and high service orientation
  • Fluency in English with additional language skills preferred

The Market Analytics team of EnBW Trading is looking for a highly motivated Ammonia & Hydrogen Analyst to support our growing low carbon fuels market activities. You will work in the Middle Office of the Trading division of Energie Baden-Württemberg AG as a member of the Market Analytics team. Our role is to provide analytical support and insights for the decision-making and position-taking of short-to longer term physical and financial deals in the energy market.
