A wide range of tasks
- The Business Partner Area Risk team, part of Trading IT, focuses on IT delivery for the risk area of trading. A particular focus is on improving automation and process efficiency, as well as continuously improving risk reporting. In the Beacon business analyst role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Analysis and documentation of business requirements and processes related to the Beacon platform.
- Developing and implementing solutions to optimise business processes and support business objectives.
- Creating and maintaining data models and reports to support decision-making.
- Using Python to automate tasks and analyse large amounts of data.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
Convincing Profile
- Degree in business administration, computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of practical experience in a comparable role as a technical analyst or as a software engineer with a focus on Beacon.
- System knowledge:
- Beacon platform: Experience working with the Beacon platform used specifically for retail risk management.
- Database management systems: Knowledge of managing and using databases to store and analyse large amounts of data.
- Business intelligence tools: Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Automation with Python: Ability to use Python to automate tasks and analyse large amounts of data.
- Knowledge of standards in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, a high level of initiative, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
