Your tasks
  • You drive the development and enhancement of backend services, APIs, and user interfaces within an agile SCRUM team for our Condition Monitoring System, EnBW Asset RADAR.
  • By ensuring the software’s functionality and keeping it up-to-date, you guarantee compliance with current security standards.
  • You take ownership of quality assurance by conducting unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain the reliability of the software.
  • As part of the DevSecOps team, you actively support application operations, including managing CI/CD processes, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and resolving bugs.

We offer a competitive compensation package for this position, with an average annual salary ranging from approximately €28,000 to €49,000. This range refers to a gross annual salary for full-time employment (40 hours per week). The exact offer will be discussed individually during the application process and is based on experience, qualifications, and relevant expertise.

Your profile
  • You hold a completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification, along with 3+ years of experience in backend development (C#/.NET) and modern frontend development (Angular, TypeScript, state management).
  • You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Domain-Driven Design, API design and management (Azure API Management, Web API), and public cloud architectures.
  • Your expertise includes proficiency in SQL (preferably Azure SQL), cloud security, and databases such as Azure SQL DB and MongoDB, and you are familiar with queuing systems like RabbitMQ.
  • You are skilled in using Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Azure DevOps for backlog management, CI/CD pipelines, and GIT repository management.
  • You communicate fluently in English (B2 level or higher); Portuguese and/or German language skills are a plus.
About the department

As a Fullstack Software Developer in our platform team, you will help shape the future of energy by driving the digital transformation of our generation facilities. You’ll work on EnBW Asset RADAR, developing robust backend services in C#/.NET and intuitive frontends using Angular and TypeScript. Your work will directly support the automation and optimization of condition monitoring across our renewable energy portfolio.
