As our new Head of Windfarm Offshore (f/m/d) you will build and lead the newly established Windfarm department within Offshore Engineering with 45 employees in three teams across Europe, providing disciplinary and professional leadership to your direct reports, possibly in different jurisdictions.
In detail, you will
- Drive the strategic development of the department based on corporate and departmental goals
- Develop and implement plans to increase your department’s capabilities, to standardize and harmonize processes and approaches across the project portfolio and to support the competitiveness of the offshore organization
- Develop your team leads individually according to EnBW’s leadership principles
- Act as a support for your employees in their project work and provide leadership and guidance whenever necessary
- Constantly exchange with the offshore wind management team, with leaders of other engineering functions, with other organizational units and with external project partners and shareholders
- You have successfully completed an academic degree (preferably Diploma or Master’s degree) in engineering or natural sciences, ideally with a close connection to the sub-areas of the department, or in a comparable field of study. Alternatively, you possess a comparable qualification acquired through several years of relevant professional experience
- In addition, you have several years of professional experience in significant technical and engineering offshore project management roles
- You have already gained solid leadership experience with a comparable team size, and you interpret your role as leader of leaders
- Being a strategic, entrepreneurial and interdisciplinary thinker that actively drives improvement activities to develop your teams you are also resilient and willing to actively tackle the challenges of an international offshore project business
- Furthermore, you are characterized by good communication skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness in German and English as well as your friendly and confident manner
- You like to work both with your teammates and as member of a leadership team, you are used to a high pace of work and still always keep an overview

Offshore wind is a business segment in our power generation division with the aim of expanding our business and creating value for EnBW. As a central business area, we develop and build offshore wind projects in Europe and manage all issues related to this business.
Within the Offshore Wind organizational unit, the T-PE department bundles the engineering and technology know-how of EnBW AG. It is the central point of contact and consultant for technical issues and it makes a significant contribution to the successful acquisition, development and execution of offshore wind projects in Europe.
Within the Offshore Engineering department, we are looking for an experienced Head of Windfarm (f/m/d) to lead the Wind Turbine team, the Foundation team, as well as the Geo, Wind & Site team.
The position reports to the Director of Offshore Engineering.
