Your tasks
In this important function you work in the bridgehead function between the trading and tax department of the EnBW AG. The key task is to give tax advice to the business on commodity trading. Furthermore you will assist on a variety of tax issues with an emphasis on compliance, reporting and transfer pricing.

Your primary responsibilities and tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Support of energy trading in national and international environment considering income taxes, tax reporting and accounting
  • Participation in tax planning of restructurings, M&A transactions and development of new business fields
  • Coordination of external tax advisers in Germany and abroad
  • Tax Review of contracts and deal approvals
  • Data compliance for CbCR
  • Preparation and review of transfer pricing reports
Your profile
  • Degree in Economics with a focus on taxes or comparable educational background as well as a successfully completed German Tax Consultant Exam  (Steuerberaterexamen). The ideal candidate will also be qualified as Consultant International Taxation (Fachberater internationales Steuerrecht)
  • More than 5 years work experience in a tax consulting and/or accounting firm or a group tax department, including practical experience in international trading
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain issues to non tax literate group members
  • High proficiency in both German and English
  • Affinity to technical support of taxable IT systems / applications
About the department

The M&A tax and international tax law department advises the company, managers and employees on all tax law issues relating to the M&A process as well as on all international tax law issues.
