Your Tasks
- Cost estimation for site conditions campaigns and commissioning of desktop studies in the early project phase, are part of your job tasks
- Your responsibilities are scoping, tendering, awarding, and controlling the site investigation surveys (geophysical acquisition, boreholes and downhole CPTs), further offshore investigations (e.g. reef mapping, bathymetric investigations) and laboratory programming
- Moreover, scoping, tendering, awarding, and controlling of the pre-construction UXO survey, as well as identification and clearance campaigns, belong to your scope of work
- Procurement and compilation of the descriptive parameters of the environmental conditions (metocean data) for the respective project area and creation of the client's design basis, are part of your designated tasks
- You will also assess and evaluate the site investigation information (CPT data, borehole data and laboratory testing data) with regards to possible foundation types
- Part of your daily doing is, to proactively support the interface management between the GEO / metocean work package and other work packages, specifically with the foundation team but also with other teams (e.g. inner array cable, export cable, transport & installation, etc.)
Your Profile
- You have a master's degree or the equivalent in geotechnical engineering
- Specifically in the areas of soil investigation, evaluation of site data, soil structure interaction, UXO survey and clearance campaigns as well as metocean data, you can show relevant experience
- Existing knowledge and experience in project management is desirable
- Familiarizing yourself with new tasks at a short notice period and taking initiative and ownership are strong traits of yours
- Fluency in Business English is required for the position while German language skills is a plus
- You are a strong team player with good communication and persuasion skills who enjoys working in intercultural teams
