Diverse responsibilities
  • Supporting offshore wind projects in developing and implementing new concepts to generate revenues while considering European transmission grid developments, new technologies and market models
  • Formulating a strategic position on alternative technologies for integrating offshore wind energy and exploring relevant market models
  • Identifying, evaluating and developing future projects with alternative integration concepts and technologies, in close cooperation with our engineering department
  • Establishing partnerships and collaborations with relevant market participants for offshore wind integration

Convincing profile

  • M.Sc. in electrical engineering or similar degree in relevant field
  • Excellent understanding of design and operations of transmission network systems, as well as electrical systems for offshore wind farms, Onshore- and Offshore-substations (HVAC and HVDC) and transmission cables, backed by several years of experience in the respective fields
  • Broad understanding of the regulatory framework governing interconnected grids in the European context
  • Enthusiasm for developing concepts to deliver more offshore wind energy to an interconnected European Energy Supply and paving the way to get there
  • Creative, multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach, ability to think innovatively and integrate knowledge across fields, while you are fluent in English and German

About the division
Our success relies on three pillars: developing and cultivating global offshore wind investment potential, creating value across development phases, and building a strong portfolio. As a Project Lead, your role encompasses generating opportunities and leading developments in multiple markets. This responsibility entails a substantial level of autonomy and the chance to steer development in accordance with industry best practices. You will coordinate and engage with key internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the achievement of EnBW’s growth targets.
