As our new Team Lead Electrical Engineering Offshore Wind (f/m/d) you will lead the international electrical engineering team with around 18 employees based in Germany and in the UK within the Offshore Engineering department, providing disciplinary and professional leadership to the team members. In detail, you will
- Drive the development of the team based on departmental goals and take responsibility for the technical development of the team
- Develop and implement plans to increase your team’s capabilities and to standardize and harmonize processes and approaches across the project portfolio
- Create and continuously develop resource plans for your team, considering current and future offshore projects. You shall support your employees in their project work and provide active trouble shooting whenever necessary
- Develop your employees according to their individual capabilities and career plans as well as business and project needs
- Constantly exchange both with other team leads and the management of the organizational unit
- You have successfully completed an academic degree in electrical engineering or in a comparable field of study. Alternatively, you possess a comparable qualification acquired through several years of relevant professional experience
- In addition, you have several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibility. You also have a broad understanding of the design process and implementation of the electrical components and systems of the grid connection and wind farm such as on-/offshore substations, HVDC systems, cable networks and wind turbines, on all voltage levels
- You have already gained initial leadership experience, perhaps even deepened by training or further education
- You are characterized by good communication skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness in English and ideally in German as well as your friendly and confident manner
- You like to work both on your own responsibility as well as in a team, you are used to a high pace of work and still always keep an overview

Within the organisational unit Offshore Wind, the T-PE department concentrates EnBW AG's engineering and technology know-how. It is the central point of contact and advisor for technical topics and a major contributor to successfully acquiring, developing, and executing offshore wind projects in Europe.
Within the Electrical Systems department of Offshore Engineering, we are looking for an experienced Team Lead (f/m/d) for the electrical engineering team, which includes the main topics of power systems design, grid connection, low voltage and auxiliary systems as well as commissioning.
The position reports to the Head of Electrical Systems Offshore.
