• Lead and develop diverse teams of IT specialists, fostering professional growth, motivation, and high performance.

• Facilitate regular team meetings, feedback sessions, and performance reviews to ensure alignment and growth.
• Act as the key liaison between management and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and organizational development trends to evolve team capabilities and maintain competitive advantage.

• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: At least 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Technical Expertise: Profound experience in software development with a deep understanding of modern software development processes, architectures, and technologies (e.g., cloud platforms and services (PaaS, SaaS), mobile development, CI/CD, DevOps, agile delivery) as well as proven experience in security principles and AI concepts.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams in an international setting, with strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Agile Practices: Solid experience with agile methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Strategic Balance: Ability to align technical excellence with people management and business priorities.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher), Portuguese skills at C1 level or higher are highly desirable. Basic German is a plus.

Collaborating closely with German management, you will align the scope and vision for our new tech hub in Portugal, driving technical excellence and fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and growth.  

In this leadership role, you will oversee up to 30 professionals across various domains, including software engineering and architecture. You’ll combine your strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership skills to build high-performing teams, ensure seamless collaboration, and support continuous professional development.
