Vielfältige Aufgaben
As our Project Engineer – Inter Array Cable, you will: 
• Be an integral part of the interdisciplinary "Inter Array Cable" work package. 
• Effectively collaborate on subsea cable engineering related aspects of the works, necessary for the effective completion of the inter array and interconnector cable systems. 
• Manage internal and external studies and consultancies for specific engineering scopes. 
• Conduct subsea cable ampacity calculations and lead the design for subsea cable and cable components. 
• Actively participate in the preparation of technical specifications for the design and construction of the inter array and interconnector cable systems. 
• Take a hands-on role in collaboration in the preparation, negotiation, and award of supply contracts, as well as in examination and evaluation of offered technical solutions. 
• Support the design, the construction, and consenting processes (This also includes reviews of documents and the delivered technical solutions for compliance with specified requirements). 
• On top of that, you will play a key role in strengthening interfaces to other work packages and work streams within the project. 
Überzeugendes Profil
• A master's degree or the equivalent in Electrical Engineering. 
• A very good knowledge of the construction of high voltage subsea cables and at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position, as well as extended project work and project implementation skills. 
• Experience in offshore wind and Inter Array Cabling is desirable. 
• A good understanding of the HSE requirements, international cable design standards and UK construction law as well as local requirements (standards and requirements) for appropriate engineering works. 
• Experience in participating in contract negotiations and in contract management of large infrastructure investment projects is desirable. 
• You are passionate about sustainable energy projects and demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel. 
• Fluency in Business English, German is a plus. 
• You can familiarise yourself with new tasks at a short notice, and do take initiative and ownership. 
• And of course, you are a strong team player with good communication and persuasion skills, who enjoys working within intercultural teams.
