We are seeking a experienced Senior Market Data Operations Contractor (f/m/d) to lead and optimize our market data operations over a 24-month engagement.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals, including usage analysis and negotiations.
- Oversee daily operations like invoice processing, purchase requisitions, and data inventory updates.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and internal access policies.
- Automate reporting workflows and build dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT on budgeting, governance, and cost allocation.
- Support audits and internal projects, including documentation, reporting, and presentation creation.
- You have 5+ years of experience in market data operations or a closely related field with proven experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- You got solid understanding of procurement processes and invoice reconciliation and you are familiar with major market data vendors and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, S&P, etc.). Ideally, you have experience with inventory and entitlement management systems such as Calero, Optimize, FITS.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft CoPilot, or similar tools for automation and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of entitlements, licensing structures, and compliance requirements.
- You have excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a hands-on approach and a strategic mindset.
- You are a self-starter who thrives in a contract-based, fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of German is beneficial.
