- Reporting Process Ownership: Create and enhance trading reports, including key performance and risk figures, to guide trading activities.
- Daily Analysis and Explanation: Analyze and explain trading portfolio positions and PnL developments daily, consulting with traders and risk managers, and validate P&L calculations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Improving Reporting Metrics: Partner with senior reporting analysts, Risk, Front Office, and Trading IT to optimize reporting processes and enhance the end-of-day (EoD) valuation process.
- Ad Hoc Analyses: Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business needs and decision-making.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive reporting systems, use advanced PowerBI analytical tools to create PnL and Trader dashboard views, and automated reports.
- Degree in engineering, natural sciences, economic sciences, or business informatics - specialization in finance, risk management, or energy management is desirable.
- Ideally previous experience in reporting or risk controlling, with knowledge of energy or financial markets, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in BI tools; familiarity with PowerBI - Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to work independently, meet commitments, build trust, and enjoy working in in an international environment.
- Good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is desirable.
EnBW's Trading business unit serves as the central market access point to the energy markets for electricity, natural gas, and other fuels within the EnBW Group. We are active in key European markets and on international energy exchanges. As a member of the Trading Reporting team, you will ensure efficient performance reporting of our Trading Activities. Working within cross-functional teams alongside traders, Risk, Business Controlling, Back Office, and IT functions, you will have the opportunity to learn about the trade lifecycle and develop deep knowledge in Energy Trading.
