Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, international environment? We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and take ownership of a wide range of HR responsibilities.
- HR Point of Contact: Serve as the go-to person for management and employees, providing expert guidance and support on all HR-related matters.
- Policy Development: Collaborate closely with the HR International team in Germany to design and implement HR policies, structures, and processes that support organizational growth.
- Compliance: Stay informed about Portuguese employment law and ensure all HR practices align with legal requirements.
- Recruitment Support: Act as an interface for recruitment processes, including overseeing contract management.
- Onboarding & Immigration: Manage employee onboarding processes and provide assistance with immigration matters, including visa applications.
- Payroll Coordination: Work closely with external providers to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate employee documentation and records.
- Performance Reviews: Support and initiate employee review processes in partnership with managers.
- Health & Safety: Take responsibility for Health & Safety matters, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
- External Providers: Coordinate and manage relationships with external service providers.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Labor Law Expertise: Solid knowledge of Portuguese employment law and compliance requirements.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, process-driven, and an excellent communicator.
- Mindset: Empathetic, people-focused, and adaptable to an international and fast-paced environment.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Portuguese (German is a plus).
- Tech Proficiency: Experience with SAP and Workday is a plus.
As our designated HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing all HR-related topics within our newly established IT hub. You will work closely with our HR International Team in Germany and play a key role in shaping future HR processes as we launch our activities in Portugal.
We value work-life balance and flexibility. This is a full-time position, but part-time arrangements with increased flexibility are also possible. Our team is based in Lisbon, with the option for hybrid working.
