Your Tasks

• You independently plan and conduct IT audits within the group, with a particular focus on energy trading
• Additionally, you identify IT risks and develop measures for risk mitigation, as well as advance digital audit methods and data analytics
• You also contribute to the assessment and further development of the audit universe in the IT context
• As an IT Auditor (f/m/d), you evaluate the IT infrastructure, applications, and processes in terms of security, compliance, and efficiency
• You collaborate with IT and specialist departments to implement audit recommendations and optimize IT processes

Your Profile

• With a completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, along with professional experience as an IT Auditor (f/m/d), ideally in the energy trading sector, you bring valuable expertise. Certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CIA, as well as experience with trading systems, are desirable
• Additionally, you possess specialized knowledge in IT risk assessment, particularly in energy trading, and have a good understanding of regulations in the IT environment, as well as IT service management processes. Excellent language skills in both German and English complete your profile
• A deep understanding of IT architectures, data modeling, and data management, along with knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Python), are among your strengths
• Your analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills, combined with a self-directed and proactive working style, enable you to present complex data in an understandable way. Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are also part of your qualifications
• A high degree of integrity in handling sensitive information is second nature to you
• A continuous interest in further education and the adaptability to new technologies and regulations round out your profile

Job description

The Internal Audit department supports the EnBW Executive Board in fulfilling its supervisory and management functions to ensure that the EnBW Group operates properly, purposefully, and economically. In cases of suspected damaging actions or compliance violations, Internal Audit investigates the matters in collaboration with the Task Force of the Compliance Committee in the interest of the company.

The goal of Internal Audit is to improve value creation within the group through independent audits or consulting and the subsequent agreement on measures in collaboration with various departments. We see our solution-oriented recommendations as an opportunity for improvement to optimize operational (process) workflows, adequately manage risks, and ensure compliance.

As part of the digital transformation of Internal Audit and inspired by our network with audits from other companies, we are integrating new audit and working methods into our reviews. This enables us to competently address modern, digital, or data-driven topics.
