EnBW UK Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnBW and part of EnBW's Trading division, which is EnBW's central point of access to the energy markets. We are active in key European markets and international energy exchanges. The Trading division is responsible for the optimal management of the EnBW portfolio and energy trading. We support the energy transition through active marketing and management of renewable energies, PPAs, direct marketing and hydrogen supply and sales. This is an exciting time to be part of our international team, whose mission is to develop smart energy products and promote renewable energy. EnBW's trading business operates in 4 European countries; Germany, UK, Norway and Switzerland. This position is based in London and is a hybrid remote role.

Your tasks
A wide range of tasks
  • Active participation in international business transformation projects within the Trading business unit, especially in the area of organisational development. 
  • Preparing and following up meetings of the necessary committees of our international subsidiaries, the Trading Division or EnBW AG  
  • In the medium-term, develop and then take over the function of managing the international subsidiaries of the Trading division. 
  • Ensuring an appropriate governance structure for foreign entities 
  • Work closely with colleagues with an international background in Germany and other European locations (e.g. Switzerland, Norway)
  • Managing specific projects, e.g. introducing procedural development tools for international entities 
Your profile
Convincing profile 
  • Master's degree in business or law or comparable qualification 
  • Initial experience in setting up international corporate structures or managing subsidiaries 
  • A basic understanding of the energy trading business is an advantage 
  • You will be characterised by a strong hands-on mentality, organisational talent, a structured approach, initiative and solution orientation, as well as above-average commitment, teamwork and communication skills.  
  • Based in our London office with occasional travel to Germany and other locations. 
  • Enjoy the exchange of ideas and collaboration with different departments (esp. HR, legal, tax, IT), coupled with a good sense of humour.
