Your tasks

A wide range of tasks

  • Lead development initiatives in trade processing, ETRM, and trade lifecycle management.
  • Customise and extend Endur functionality using OpenJVS, OpenComponents, Connex, .NET, Java, Kafka, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe and other time zones for project delivery.
  • Analyse and optimise legacy Endur customisations, improving undocumented codebases.
  • Provide production support to Operations and maintain effective communication with stakeholders
Your profile

Convincing profile

  • Proven expertise in Openlink Endur development, including cMotion configuration and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenJVS, OpenComponents, Java, SQL, Kafka, Python, and API design/testing.
  • Familiarity with Connex Gateways for trade booking and market data integration.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimisation for EOD batch processing.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and a scientific academic background.

EnBW's Trading business unit is EnBW's central market access point to the energy markets. We are active in key European markets and on international energy exchanges. Our Trading unit is responsible for the optimal management of EnBW's portfolio, is active in the trading of renewable energies and thus supports the Energiewende. We are also involved in future topics such as hydrogen or smart & digital in trading, as well as in new supply contracts and the management of renewable energies. EnBW's Business Unit Trading operates with an international team with employees from more than 30 nations, represented at 4 European locations: Germany, England, Norway, and Switzerland. The position is ideally based in our Headquarter Karlsruhe, but it can also be located in London.
