A wide range of tasks
Join our technology team supporting energy trading activities. In this role you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Openlink Endur platform, focusing on technical delivery, supporting projects with Endur dependencies and system optimization.
- Design and develop applications using agreed coding standards and quality targets.
- Liaise with immediate Scrum team, other Scrum/project teams, line managers and development leads to ensure accurate and complete delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of software development best practices within EnBW.
- Support and mentor other developers in all areas of the development lifecycle.
- Provide regular status updates, reflecting individual progress against the development plan.
- Customize and extend Endur funcitionality using OpenJVS, OpenComponents, AVS, Connex, C#, .Net, Java, and SQL.
- Ability to work with a highly customised Endur installation, including reverse engineering documentation
- Support project delivery
Convincing Profile
- The ideal candidate will have a strong development background with hands-on experience across Openlink technologies and financial products, particularly in power, gas, and oil markets:
- Ideally you will have 10+ years development experience) with a track record of delivering robust enterprise-wide solutions using industry standard practices
- Modern design principles. i.e. able to take initial design direction and interpret those guidelines to finalize the design through to a solution and experience of working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
- In-depth knowledge of Openlink Endur (versions V19-V23 preferred), as well as API design and development fundamentals and with API testing using tools such as Swagger
- Good SQL/Sybase skills; building modern applications with C#
- Strong hands-on development experience with:
- AVS, OpenJVS, Open Components, Java, SQL, C#, Python
- Connex Gateways for trade booking and market data integration
- Real-Time Position Engine (RTPE) and Automated Position Management (APM)
- Performance tuning and optimization for EOD batch processing
